Tells the story of a man whose life is lacking with his father. The only thing they have now, is a house. As for things like eating or something like that, they're really struggling with that. Now he is in school, but in his feelings, he does not want to go to school, in order to reduce their living expenses. However, his father insisted. So he had no other choice.
While at school, he thought of ways to earn money. It coincided with the teacher teaching that, "If you want to be rich, then you must trade." From there he wanted to try to trade. But of course it was not an easy thing for him, because he had no experience at all.
On his way home, he went to a shopping center to learn something about trading, even if it was just by looking.
He was now observing that market for a long time. Usually he is at school, he is called by the name Surya. Yet here, no one called out to him.
Surya watched him for 2 hours. Finally he decided to go home. But at that time, suddenly when someone wanted to go home through a narrow alley, he met a girl who was being slapped.
Surya just peeked at the incident, but inside he wanted to help him. However it was a dangerous move, as he knew nothing about this situation. It could be that his actions could be a boomerang for him.
The girl looked resigned when she was slapped.
"You don't have to do this. I can give it quickly, if you ask nicely."
The girl whose collar was being pulled spoke as if the one who was cornered was not her.
The person who was nagging took his hand from his collar. Then the girl gave the money to them. The thief took the money and left without a word.
Surya who was watching was confused by the girl's attitude, "Why can he be so calm in such a condition?" thought Surya.
Surya sighed to muster the courage to approach the girl.
"Excuse me," Surya said with the intention of starting a conversation.
"Oh, sorry my merchandise is out of stock. Maybe tomorrow you can get it, but it depends on when you buy it," the girl laughed.
"Why do you think this is a trivial thing? You know that's not the reason I'm here, I saw you getting smacked, why are you still smiling?"
"Hmm…," the girl lowered her head, "perhaps you are just overreacting, after all, being slapped is normal. When you have the ability to trade, then meet with having power, you know who will win?"
"So you're saying it's better to be that hothead than to trade."
"That's not what I mean, people who have the ability to trade and people who have power. Those two are absolutely necessary."
"Sorry, I don't understand what you mean."
"I mean that, I also have power. Strength to endure."
"The power to endure?"
"Yes, because a victor is someone who endures to the end. As long as the cards are in my hand, I won't give up no matter how difficult the problem is. So all I need to do is just enjoy the process until I finally win."
Surya was just silent listening to the girl's explanation.
"You still don't understand," the girl covered her face with her right hand, "Then come tomorrow and see with your own eyes. Until tomorrow."
"Okay."
They both bid farewell. On the way home, Surya remembered something that if he forgot to ask the girl's name.
