This is a story about a brave boy. It is said that the boy entered the cursed forest in search of his parents who had been missing for days. The boy along with his two parents came from a commoner's family. They are a happy family despite living in poverty in a kingdom that doesn't care about its people.
On that day the boy's parents left the boy with a message.
"Don't look for us, we are going to a very far away place, you go to your uncle's house and live with your uncle after reading this letter."
Even though both the boy's parents were commoners, his mother's older brother or the boy's uncle was a noble with the title of baron. His uncle became a baron because he was skilled in trade and became a very rich merchant.
The boy knows that his parents want him to have a better life with his uncle, but he doesn't want that, all he wants is to live happily with his parents. The boy ran and kept asking the same things to the people he met.
"Have you seen my father and mother? They have brown hair and black eyes, I have to find them, please tell me!"
Everyone he met shook their heads as if they didn't really know about the whereabouts of the boy's parents. The boy didn't give up and kept asking people he met until finally an old woman waved at him. The boy was very happy and approached the old woman.
"Have you seen my father and mother? They have brown hair and black eyes, I have to find them, please tell me!"
The old woman smiled at the boy as if she already knew what had happened to the boy. The old woman pointed at the cursed forest with her index finger.
"I saw them, they were going there, they were running as fast as they could this morning towards there."
"Thank you!"
The boy ran as fast as he could towards the cursed forest. He had fallen many times but he kept getting up so he could go to his parents. The boy was afraid when he was in front of the entrance to the cursed forest, but because he felt he had no other choice to meet his parents, he chose to enter the cursed forest.
Grrrr... Grrrr.... Grrrr...
Inside the cursed forest was very quiet, he did not hear the sound of animals or insects. But he heard a snoring sound coming from a deeper part of the forest. Despite being frightened by the snoring sound that might come from a wild animal, the boy still forced himself to go towards the sound to find out what had happened to his parents.
The boy kept going into the deepest part of the cursed forest until he finally found a very large cave. The sound of snoring that he heard also came from the cave, he also saw a piece of cloth from his mother's clothes stuck in the bushes near the cave. The boy headed to the mouth of the cave and kept calling for his mother.
"MOTHER! IS MOTHER THERE?! ANSWER ME MOTHER!"
The voice of the boy continued to echo in the cave, but he didn't hear a single answer except that the snoring he had heard earlier had stopped. The boy had stopped calling his mother because he was afraid, but he called his mother again because he was worried about what had happened to his mother and father.
"MOTHER! IS MOTHER THERE?! WHAT ABOUT DAD?! IS DAD THERE TOO?!"
ROARRR!
The boy fell to his knees lethargic from the shock of the roar he had just heard. The boy was so frightened that his whole body trembled. From the cave, appeared a four-legged dragon with outstretched wings, the dragon had white scales and had blue eyes, the dragon was enormous in size with three times the height of an adult.
"You human! this is the second time my sleep has been disturbed today, why did you come here? Do you also want to sacrifice your treasure so you can leave this continent? Too bad, I can only use my power to do that once a month."
The boy was surprised, he initially thought that his parents had been eaten by wild animals, but apparently his parents presented their remaining treasure to the ancient dragon so that they could leave this continent.
"So you didn't eat both my parents right? They just left this continent right?"
"Yes, they just left this continent, you want to follow them too? Come back in one month, I will let you go to their place without sacrificing your treasure."
The boy knew the real reason why his parents chose to leave this continent, it happened because there would soon be a great war between the four kingdoms on this continent. The boy wants to stop the war that will happen on this continent in order to make a place for his parents to return instead of having to follow his parents.
