Alex's mind went through a lot of different ideas in a very brief amount of time.
"I will use my intelligence, whether it be yours or Brad's, to figure out the reason why I didn't just kill you outright. I might as well just come right out and say it." Alex heard this voice in his head once more: "Yes, if I kill you all, I will also pay a great price, and I also want to live well, so why don't we make a deal between the two of us, how about it?" Alex's mind echoed with the words, "Yes, if I kill you all, I will also pay a great price."
