Chapter 55 - CHAPTER-55

When Hao Fei said the first sentence, all of the voices in the operation hall vanished, and only Hao Fei's resonant voice could be heard in the background of the room.

"Each of the five of them possesses the toughest mental qualities, the strongest physical bodies, and the most outstanding ability to withstand pressure and make decisions, as well as the deepest affection for our human civilization, among other things. They intend to take everything we have left. Scientists on Earth used their eyes and ears to peer into space and to the sun, allowing us to learn more about what was going on above the sun. In a way, they represent our ray of hope "Hao Fei shared his thoughts.

"Actually, we humans are still moving at an excessively fast pace in some ways. So far, we humans have only successfully landed on the moon, not even on the planet Mars. Our technological level is insufficiently advanced, our capabilities are insufficiently strong, our understanding of the near-solar cosmic space is insufficiently thorough, and it is impossible to make risk estimates that are too precise, and our technological level is only barely adequate in comparison to the requirements. We don't have a choice in the matter. This solar crisis is the first major test that our civilization has had to face in its history. We don't have the time, energy, or resources to plan ahead of time, which is why the first manned solar exploration mission was completed in such a short period of time. This solar exploration mission is being funded by the National Science Foundation. It's extremely dangerous, to say the least."

"This is a lengthy journey of nearly 400 million kilometers back and forth, and these five heroes will be aboard the Crimson Heart spacecraft for a period of six to eight months. No one can predict what dangers and challenges will be encountered in the future during this period of time; no one can predict what will be encountered during this period of time. It can be said that from the moment these five heroes stepped onto the Hercules launch vehicle, they committed their lives to their destiny and dedicated themselves to the advancement of the entire human population. To be honest, I wouldn't have been able to do it without that courage. And I'm confident that the majority of those present could not have done it. This was accomplished, however, by these five heroes, and they did so with determination and without hesitation."

The tallest of the five astronauts, the tallest of the five astronauts, said: "There are always things that people need to do. It is impossible to avoid this. What will happen to human civilization if we don't do something about it? We are a part of the human civilizational system in which we live. Every individual is protected by civilization while also making a contribution to civilization. Individuals have a natural obligation to make sacrifices for the advancement of civilization. As a result, we have no reason to be afraid. We are only concerned with completing the task and obtaining the results. Our lives and deaths are rendered moot if we have access to sufficient technical information."

"You're absolutely correct." According to a female astronaut, who had a very relaxed smile on her face, "I have left a suicide note at home in advance, but I am hoping that the suicide note will not be opened until it is confirmed that we are deceased."

Hao Fei expressed himself as follows: "I am the commander-in-chief of this manned solar observation program, and I promise that I will exert every effort possible to ensure your safety and the successful completion of the mission's objectives. If an accident on the Crimson Heart spacecraft results in your death, you will be compensated. if something does go wrong, I will accept full responsibility for it and will devote my life to making amends for your sins"

Another astronaut said with a smile, "It's a good day to be an astronaut." "The mission will be a resounding success. We have high expectations for the successful completion of this mission. We received up to five years of space flight training before embarking on this mission, and we believe we are capable of resolving the problem. Any unexpected issues that arose during the course of our journey."

"It's really good." Hao Fei smiled and nodded. At this point, a staff member approached Hao Fei and said something to him in hushed tones, and Hao Fei repeated himself, saying, "The head of state has received our report, and he wishes to speak with you in person."

When Hao Fei pressed a button in the operation hall, the old man appeared on the large screen in front of him. When Alex looked at the screen, his pupils couldn't help but contract.

The last time Alex saw the elderly gentleman was approximately one month ago. In a little more than a month, the elderly gentleman appeared to have aged by a dozen years.

The wrinkles on his face became deeper and deeper, like ravines, one by one. There is still some paleness at the roots of the hair, despite the fact that it has been colored. In his eyes, he appeared to have slept for more than ten days straight, as though he hadn't had enough rest. Alex could still feel the old man's exhaustion even though he was viewing it through a screen.

A decision on the migration plan for billions of people, on the massive construction plan that has never been seen before in human history, on all kinds of rumors and conspiracies, on turmoil and cults, on food shortages, on energy shortages, on transportation shortages, and on many other issues are all awaiting this old man's decision. If Alex is responsible for half of humanity's fate, then this old man is responsible for the entire fate of mankind.

Despite the fact that the old man appeared to be exhausted, his voice was still loud and full of strength. As soon as the video equipment had been debugged, the old man's loud voice could be heard throughout the operation hall, greeting the heroes: "Hello, heroes."
