(Ray)
Ray looked out of the window of the guest room on the first floor. Below he could see Meghan's car almost entirely surrounded by the Deathless children that Ravi called Critters. They seemed to have completely forgotten about him and Meghan as they played around with the shiny red vehicle like a new toy. A few of them managed to climb up the car's bonnet and began jumping around on top of it. The other few went inside the open door and began fiddling with the various dials and levers of the car.
'Jesus… I hope they don't break anything.' Thought Ray to himself.
"How's it looking out there!?" Ravi called out loudly causing Ray to jump up.
He quickly rushed out of the room and leaned over the wooden railings of the stairs. "Shhh, Ravi sir." He said in a hushed tone, "Those things are busy messing around with the car right now. But if they hear you they might focus their attention on the house instead."
