"I'm sorry, what?" Leon said, a little louder than he intended to.
"Shhh!" said Sheila again and covered his mouth. "Let them pass." She whispered.
Just then, the Deathless they had seen in the lead staggered past the car they were hiding behind. Sheila immediately held her breath and scooted up closer to Leon to prevent herself from getting spotted. Her heart began beating loudly from nervousness while Leon's did the same for completely different reasons. Though he should have been concerned about a massive horde passing by hardly three feet away, his attention was diverted elsewhere.
"God, there's so many of them." Sheila said, eyeing the horde with concern.
"Uhh—yes, very true." Said Leon, absentmindedly.
