Rody had to carefully untangle himself from his girlfriend so as to not wake her up. He freed his arms and legs with the lightest of movements. Every time he successfully managed to retrieve one of his limbs, he sighed out in relief before proceeding with the next. It took him several minutes to fully worm his way out from underneath her. He located his shirt on the floor and picked it up before sliding it over his head. He then got to his feet and made his way towards the door, getting his arms into the sleeves in the process.
Even before he opened it, he could hear voices on the other side. Someone was talking quite excitedly. Curious, he twisted the doorknob and creaked the door open just wide enough for him to slip through. Before exiting, he turned towards Samantha one final time just to ensure she was still fast asleep. After confirming that she was, he left the room and closed the door behind him.
