(Rody)
Rody watched as Ray held his cricket bat in both hands and attempt a few swings. Even though he moved his arms slowly, his face still scrunched up with pain every time. Looking down in disappointment at himself, Ray switched his grip to the base of the bat's handle and tried using it as a one handed weapon. Rody didn't need to spectate him anymore to know that it was a lost cause.
"Hey mate," he said as he walked up to the balcony, "maybe Momo is right. You don't seem to be in any state to go outside. You can't even use your bat properly."
Ray frowned. "It's harder, yes. But I think I'm starting to get the hang of it."
Rody didn't believe that one bit. "Look, I didn't want to say this but… if you can't defend yourself, don't you think you'd be a burden on the people you're going with?"
