Chapter 29 - Tournament ( part 1 )

I stared at Rose thinking who is going to go first,

"it's really simple, number 1 and number 2 will fight first, number 3 and number 4 will fight second, and so on! Number 1 and Number 2, get in the center and simply, FIGHT! You may also forfeit anytime."

I closed my eyes and muttered, "So I will fight on the 4th match, I wonder who I'll go against."

To be honest, I just want to fight someone on my own level, not something like a black belt Kyokushin Karate, I AM BARELY A WHITE BELT!

( Just in case you guys didn't know, the order from belts weakest to strongest is, White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Purple, Blue, Blue Stripe, Brown, Brown Stripe, Red, Junior Red, and finally, Black. )

'Vanessa, change my title back to "Taekwondo Apprentice" if things get more intense change it back to "Sucked By A Gorilla".'

[ Affirmative, I will keep that in mind ]

----------------

[ Title changing... changed! ]

[ Title Equiped: Taekwondo Apprentice ]

---------------

'Okay, I should attempt to warm myself up.' I inwardly said while for some reason, smirked at something.

I 'spread' my legs and again, fully stretched my legs. Since I don't know what opponent I am going up against, I have to prepare for the worst.

Although I still remember the pain from last time; muscles being torn. I still need to do it.

'No pain, no gain! amirite, Vanessa?'

[ ... ]

I continued stretching my legs even though she ignored me. Although it wasn't as bad as before. It still hurts a lot.

'By the way, Vanessa why is my body still not flexible enough to complete the splits quickly?'

[ You bozo, most people take a long time to fully make their bodies flexible, do you think you can accomplish that with only one try? ]

'... yes, right?'

[ ...bro are you high? ]

I didn't reply with anything because I think I said something stupid.

'...'

[ Hmph, if you're not going to reply then so be it, Just focus on your flexibility for now. ]

I nodded inwardly as I focused on stretching my legs until a person said,

"Number 7, Number 8, come to the center" It was the same blonde-haired woman from the counter.

'I wondered where Rose went? Wait, what am I thinking bruh, she has other things to do. Oh well, let's see how the match goes.'

I cracked my knuckles as I walked to the center.
