The foundation of my emissaries is well underway. My son Satan has his friend, The Hell's Inquisitor, Hector King. This has given me an idea. Why do I have to send people with very specific orders. Then clean up after them regardless. I shall recruit people who can do simple things without fucking up. They can have a bit of fun on the job, but the job must be complete.
I'm a bit inspired by the Emperor of Mankind in the 41st millennium. But I have a different number of emissaries in mind. They are a blend of the Adeptus Custodes, Inquisition and Grey Knights blended into one, capable and powerful package.
The first one is a Marine who saved my life on June 9 1969. We were out on patrol. The army and Marines rarely overlapped commands. The intra-service rivalry still going strong. I was a fresh 2LT. I suddenly got yanked to the side. And the was the marine Cpl Banks. All he said was "you need to watch where you stop, sir." He pointed to a patch of grass lying flat in the wrong direction. Then he pointed to the path we were on which I was on, it was all mud. Then the squad of marines moved up back and stated placing bets on who would hit the mine. Crazy motherfuckers.
I met him again a few years later. I had completed my PhD. I was a LtCol at the time, he was a member of Marine Force Recon. I remembered his face, you don't forget the name of the man who saved you. I'd also kept tabs on him. It was easier when I was actually in the army. I left the military behind to focus on my business and cures.
Now that I am an Omniversal God, I can take care of the children and keep an eye on some of my ear-marked people. Zulrak is finally in hell, but you never know when another being like that can pop up.
I need these men and women to act without attracting attention. They will have a mission and all the tools they need. They will have no past in the world they are sent to. There are others I have planned for this little project of mine.
I first need to forge MSgt Wilfred Banks into a perfect host for my gifts. The others are people from a parallel dimension from the one I visited. These men would grow together or fail together. I cannot accept failures, so they will be left to their own devices. I have given them a method to communicate and grow stronger before I send them on their first joint mission. Something easy, yes so redundant that they have to work together. I'll figure something out later.
I'd already given missions to all the members. Wilfred...Cassius now, Cassius' mission was to simply survive. He had all the tools at his disposal, he just had to work hard to get them. So for I was not disappointed.
His use of existing criminal networks was actually quite masterful. I didn't say my emissaries had to be saints. I already have angles and the over grown pigeons just shit on everything. I will watch and wait.
I've sent him to a world where his skills and knowledge will help him greatly. I have made available several opportunities for him to accelerate his growth, and he has taken them, and abused them. Well I didn't think he'd choose the route he went but I'm seeing why having a man who breathed war as one of your trusted subordinates is a very good thing. He's not bothered and plagued by finding deeper meanings and figuring out absolutely everything there is to figure out.
I'd given him a job, and he's been carrying it out well. There are somethings I would've dove differently, but he got the result he wanted.
The only question I have now is, 'was giving him firearms the right choice?' I mean he's perfectly fine ripping apart monsters and people with spears, swords, and magic. 'Does he need the firearms though?'
And then I saw him completely decimating a Juggernaut. I had flashbacks to Vietnam when I saw the masterful display of suppressive fire. And this was only one man. 'What would happen if all of them came together to dive into the dungeon? I'll arrange for that later.'
Moving on to Genryusai Yamamoto. Things are going smoothly. Aizen is still a lieutenant in the 5th division. Cassius giving everyone information on hidden plots and machinations will have a severe effect on the future of the entire soul society. I personally don't give 2 shits about what happenes to the soul society. I need Genryusai, and Retsu. These two will be a part of my initial emissary legion. I need the experienced monsters. Monsters are a dime a dozen, but how many of them get put down? No I need killers who have their temper and urges under control. I will have both eventually. They will not go to Hell. I still don't know is Retsu will accept the offer though.
Whitebeard is a man I respect greatly. He's in. I just have to get him to his prime and he will be the perfect emissary. I had to put a bounty on him to keep up appearances and later recruit him not my Golden Justice Army. 'What it sounded cool at the time.' Maybe a few others but I'm not counting on it.
Master Roshi because Master Roshi. I didn't interact with him much but he was the god of martial arts for a reason. Before all the alien nonsense in Dragonball it was he who stood at the top. Also an old man is far more dangerous. He's lived through several scenarios that you wouldn't even dream of. I need the team to have the perspective of someone who went from the top of the world to an average fighter in his own lifetime. Also he has some great insights.
Zeno Zoldyck, I need an assassian. Some one who keeps the others focused and efficient. Him and Issac Netero are my picks from that world.
Bang "Silver Fist" is on the team for his expertise and morals along with Master Roshi. The others I feel will do whatever it takes to get the job done. An admirable mindset, but giving someone power and telling him not to use it is like like telling a kid ha can't have the ice cream in front of him. It doesn't work out too well, and then they start lying to you. I don't need that. So I will keep a few people who will also help me keep everyone in check. Zombieman is someone I'm also keeping an eye on.
Makarrov Dreyar, I need him to build on the magic the group has and improve it. I wanted someone from Harry Potter but they are all unsuitable. Minevera is the only decent option, but she is not an alchemist. Maybe I'll ask regardless. I have the notes of Nicholas so it shouldn't be too hard. Makarov also holds his guild and guild-members in high regard. He won't do something to endanger them. No one else is suitable for my purposes.
Madara, I need a no nonsense killer to operate in the open. He is Zeno's counterpart. Him and Whitebeard attract the attention at the front while the others wipe everyone out. I don't know why I gave him a sniper rifle. I thought it'd be funny, it's not. At this rate there will be no Village Hidden in the Leaves. What's more Cassius uploaded a tutorial on how to shoot long distances. I've created a monster, I mean I wanted a monster but not one like this. Thank me, I don't have to incentivize him to train all his other abilities. He's looking into making a chakra based rifle. Fuck why didn't I think of that!
Odin, he's there to bring perspective. He is a god king he is always forced to look at the big picture. There needs to be a balance. A voice of the common people, and a voice of a ruler. I don't need a politician, I need a king. I'm trying to temper him into an instrument of my will. He needs to go through Ragnarok once more before I take his experiences and skills and share them across the Chat-Group.
I have a few prospects in mind. Iroh for one, and a few others.
For now, I simply watch.
