Kira sat gently as they dressed her for the ball. She was dressed more elegantly than usual but she didn't complain since she knew it was because their guests were elegant themselves.
"Done my queen."
Kira looked at herself in the mirror before nodding. She was helped up and down to the entrance of the ballroom because she was still weak. Melchoir, Ralph, Vitalis, Achilles, Xander and Uma stood at the door waiting for her.
"Sorry it took long." Kira said as she stood next to Melchoir grabbing his arm for support.
"It's okay. You'll be fine in a few hours." He pecked her cheeks and she nodded.
"Please rise and welcome the king and queen of Vitalia. His royal majesty, King Melchoir and her royal majesty, Queen Kirana."
The large doors opened and they stepped in. Everyone stood on their feet to welcome their king and queen. A frown settled on Gwen's lips as she saw Kira hold on to Melchoir possessively. "Enjoy it while it lasts Kira."
