"HEY! CATCH THE BALL YOU IDIOT!"

A voice exclaimed in the distance. The boy who stands smack center of the gym slowly turns around.

"H-Huh?! Me? What am I supposed to catch-?!"

*BAM*

A ball hits him right in the face and he passes out.

"Ah! My face hurts. Where am I ?"

"So you're finally awake? Here take this."

The woman sitting across from me spun around in her chair and gracefully made her way toward me. I blush as I try to ask why I was in the nurse's office again. Instead of letting me finish, the woman jabs an ice pack in my face. The indescribable pain and shivers throughout my body were let out by a loud-

"OOOOUUUUUCHHHHH! THAT HURTS!"

"Compress your face with this and get out."

Without listening to anything I say, I quickly made my way out of the office to not upset her further. As I walk along the school rails, with an ice pack compressed to my cheek, out of no where another ball comes flying from the sky. And of course I took the blow, like the unathletic wimp I was. But at least that time, I was still conscious.

I raged.

"I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP TARGETING ME! WHAT AM I HUH? YOUR PERSONAL PUNCHING BAG???"

I spun around, raised my left leg, and attempting to let out some of the anger that had piled up, I paused. There was something stuck to the ball.

"A note?"

Ignoring that it was in the shape of the heart, my eyes were drawn to-

"AOI YUN?! T-THAT'S ME! IS THIS A CONFESSION LETTER?!!!!"

I became so flushed after that thought. I grabbed the letter off the ball and practically flew to the male restroom. Carefully unsealing the note, my eyes wide and sweating profusely, it read…..

I hope you're doing splendidly. The reason I wrote this is because I want you to meet me behind the school at 3:00 today. If that's alright with you. You can show up or stand me up but there is something important I need to tell you.

Later that day in class, I decided that even if it's a prank I'd go. Just in case she shows. I arrive there early and waited till seven o'clock that day. Of course she didn't show up. I took up my bag that leaned against my feet and went home that night. I wasn't surprised at all. In fact, I kind of expected it. What I didn't expect, wat what would happen the next day.
