In the courtyard of the palace, the formation in which the guards were assembled at each corner, impressed Zelta.
Mounted by both corners of the gate, were two sentinels, suited in gold and red amour.
Zelta was thrilled by their brawny physique and the way they stared straight ahead, with bravery. Their still stance would make someone mistake them for statues and golden images.
Although the palace had always been, as far as she could remember, this was Zelta's first time experience in the palace. She followed behind the men, as they climbed up the stairs and entered through the door, that led to the throne chamber.
