O'Neil and Isabel were both worried about their daughter. Their daughter had left the living room, leaving there staring at each other. O'Neil was so angry with himself, for everything, for leaving home for so long, while the life of his daughter was at stake. He blamed himself for all the tragedies they faced. He thought that if he had not followed those men to the palace that day, Iris would not have been kidnapped.
"This is all my fault," he said in a low tone.
Wrinkles were visible on Isabel's forehead now.
"No it's not, you tried your best to find her, we both did," replied Isabel to her husband.
"But I failed her, and now who knows what De voe may have done to her," he said.
"I feel like something is wrong like something's eating her up," added O'Neil.
"Me too," said Isabel, "I'll go talk to her," she added. She stood up and walked out.
