Zain's eyes widened so much that the whites showed, pressing a hand against her chest, with fingers splayed wide. Her brother's room was in a state beyond recognition, most of the furniture was destroyed beyond repair, and Leo was not in there. Zain shuffled around the sheets, checking if he was in there, but she felt no one. She searched hurriedly all around the room, by the corners, in the closet, under the bed, and still searching, but he was nowhere to be found. She quickly stormed out of the room.
"Papa!" she yelled "Where is Leo, I can't find him in the room."
She began to search every possible place around the house that he could be. But she was confused and worried because Leo couldn't stand on his feet, let alone, climb down the stairs. She felt he was in trouble, maybe stuck, or lost somewhere. She also wondered why her father wasn't even answering any of her calls. She went to his room, and to her greatest surprise, his door stood ajar, without anyone inside.
