Tobin and his father were both still dialoguing on the same issue, which was about one man; De voe.
Tobin's father was so desperate to convince and convert his son to one of De voe's followers. He had an agreement with De voe, that he was to convince his son to join him in the dark allegiance. He also agreed that if he fails to get the task done, he would be left with no other choice, but to take the life of his own son, himself.
This was a very difficult task for him. He didn't want his only son to die, and neither did he want to kill his own son.
On the other hand, was Tobin. He was so angry with his father, for becoming a member of De voe's followers, and joining the dark allegiance. As his father was trying to convince him to join De voe's followers, he kept on stating out reasons why he would never accept the offer. He was also trying his best to see if there was any way he could talk him out of it, but his father just couldn't be convinced.
