Zain was in a great panic after hearing what Sebastian had just said. She wondered what it was he had been hiding from her, that he was so sorry about. She got a bit bothered, realizing that he actually hadn't told her anything.
"You have not yet told me what you're hiding, how then do you expect me to believe you're sorry," said Zain to Sebastian.
"Sorry, I forgot. We Blackbloods, we have some sacred doctrines and cultural practices which are so important and compulsory to be adhered to," said Sebastian.
Zain had a thoughtful expression on her face at this moment. She was more enthusiastic than how she was before.
"Now tell me, the thing you hide from me, what does it have to do with some dumb Blackblood cultures and traditions, I mean... why should that even bother me in the first place?" she asked.
