Elizabeth's POV
Before I even opened the door, I knew who would be waiting for me. Putting on the dress I'd chosen for his arrival, I couldn't help but smile as I checked my hair in the mirror to make sure it wasn't sexy. There is no way for me to do it, even if it were the only sex I had with myself. Laughing, I sprinted down the stairs and snatched the door from the housekeeper's grasp in a split second. As she walked away, Rhea gave me a curious glance before shaking her head and smiling.
Saliva swallowed and my heart rate slowed down as I tried to relax. After that, I was willing to let myself in. The world's most perfect man stood in the sun, surrounded by what appeared to be rainbows and glitter. His sandy blonde hair gave him the stereotypical Californian look. Because of his immaculately maintained, very stylish, well-tailored business suit, and well-groomed appearance, you might mistake him for a typical businessman.
