I drew the long blade out in front of me.
"Do you know how to use... That" she asked.
I ran my fingers down the sharp edge cleaning the small rusted places. It was still in good shape.
"I know a thing or two"
She threw her hand in the air, in an exaggerated sigh.
"Of course, you know everything," her words were full of sarcasm.
I rolled my eyes at her, not wanting to elaborate on how I knew how to wield a sword. It was Nigel who thought he had said there would come a time when I would be short-handed and not have a dagger or a gun and I blew it off that I would always carry a weapon on me no matter what then again here I am.
I took a swing with it testing out my arm strength,
"This will do for me", I said looking over to where she stood. Her face looked astonished by my little swordplay.
"How many weapons can you wield?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
