Chapter 41 - Chapter XXXXI: Bye Bye You Two

I had already spent majority of my time making up and talking with Anna. Eventually, I had to ask her the question that was lingering in my mind ever since the first time I thought it.

"Anna, how do you feel about harems?" Off rip, I saw how she processed the question and understood the meaning behind it. She went into deep thought.

"I mean, I don't have any particular feeling for that. I think it's an interesting concept for one to be in a relationship with multiple people-"

"Anna, let's not beat around the bush." She paused and took a deep breath.

"I just don't understand why you're thinking about that. Am I not enough? Is there something I need to do?"

I sighed.

One Emotional Discussion Between Couples Later (I would've actually written this part in, but I think I'm too inexperienced to do it right and it'll look unnatural or weird. Use your imagination for now.)

—————————

"It's alright, don't be sorry." I cuddled with Anna on our nice white couch. She got a bit emotional during our conversation, so I was just trying to cheer her up.

It's definitely a no on that harem for now. I'm not really complaining though. I haven't seen enough women to make me just want to have a harem to fuck them all. I'm content with Anna.

After a few hours of cuddling, she fell asleep in my arms, her face pressed up against my chest, and her arms around my back.

I carried her up to the bedroom and gently laid her down. I left the room and walked out the house. I had a plan and two places to go.

This whole time, ever since the prehistoric times, I've been holding on to two animals. Blaze, and Bashenga. But they're not getting any use, when they're just in my inventory all day.

I disappeared from the front of my house and reappeared in a forest area. From a first glance, it looked like a simple forest. It kind of was. There was nothing special about the grass, or the trees, not even the air.

*ROAAR!*

Well, there was something special about the things that lived here. This kind of forest is known as a dinosaur range. Located somewhere in Africa. Speaking of Africa, I'm grateful that this dinosaur range was here, it'll make my next trip less time consuming.

The dinosaur that just roared at me was a Carnosaur. (I'll try and put an image here.)

I was very familiar with its specific kind because of a video game I played in my past life called Ark, a game in which majority of its creatures being dinosaurs. I spent many hours on that game.

Anyways, I summoned Blaze from my inventory right in front of the Carnosaur and watched it's reaction. It was definitely terrified. The pure size and power that Blaze had made this poor creature back away.

Blaze released a low growl and then a medium roar. The Carnosaur stopped backing away and lowered his head towards Blaze.

'What did you say to him?'

I waited for a few minutes, but I never got a response, Blaze just continued to focus his attention on the Carnosaur and other smaller dinosaurs who came to inspect the noise.

There was nothing wrong with the mental connection. He was ignoring me. I can't say I blame him though. The last time I brought him out was when dinosaurs were allowed to roam around freely.

I'd say that was around, 1206 AD, but dinosaurs were getting killed much faster around that time. I'd say that there are a little under 10,000 left in the world right now.

'Listen Blaze, I understand how you're feeling right now. That's why I'm here to let you roam, freely. You've been trapped in that abyss for so long, and I'm sorry.'

Blaze turned back and looked at me with his face that was always unreadable to me, seeing as he lacked many face muscles.

I could still tell how he felt even though his face doesn't say it. I've gained some kind of empathy after a while of living.

#Goodbye.#

Blazes turned back around and walked past the Carno that was still bowing to him. The Carno acknowledged his disappearance and quickly followed behind him.

I sighed after standing there for a few seconds. I rubbed my hand through my hair and exited the forest.

I didn't sever my system connection with Blaze, so I could always talk to him whenever I wanted, but I don't think I'll have time right now. And I think it would be best for him to become some dinosaur king rather than sit in my system and absorb dust.

Now, I had one more place to go, and I think this will be a very interesting interaction.

—————————

It took me pretty much no time to find what I was looking for, but I eventually did. On the outside, I stood before a mountain range with a nice body of glistening water inside.

But on the inside, was a utopia. A civilization filled with technology beyond human comprehension, most of the people who reside here don't even know the potential of what they possess.

If this description wasn't enough, then let's get to the point. I was here in Wakanda, because I think that this is the best place for Bashenga to be. It is technically his origin.

He was never born here though, he was created, practically from thin air.

I only have a few more seconds before they find out that I'm actually here, and then a few minutes to get here and detain me.

'I wonder who the current king and queen of Wakanda are.'

While I waited, I pulled Bashenga out of the inventory to see how he was feeling. When I pulled him out, he was peacefully sleeping.

I grinned and squat down. I stretched my hand towards his head and started scratching him behind the ears.

"Purrrr.." A purr naturally came out of his mouth as he slowly opened his eyes. His gaze immediately landed on me. Unlike Blaze, Bashenga was much more calm and even more open to me.

He rolled over on his back so I could give him belly rubs. It seems even after hundreds or thousands of years, cats are always too lazy to give a shit.

Of course, this cat wasn't a house cat, it was a jungle cat.

I waited for about 10 minutes before I was finally swarmed by around 15 Wakandans, clad in barbarian styled vibranium armor, with vibranium spears to match.

"I thought you'd guys be quicker."

"Come peacefully to see the king, or we will have to use lethal force."

I usually am not cocky in these kinds of situations, but I knew that if these people attacked me, Bast wouldn't like that very much.

Even if we're not in a romantic relationship anymore. I do suspect she has feelings for me still, but that can wait.

"There's no need to be rowdy. I'll go. As long as I get to take my panther." They looked at each other with analyzing gazes, before agreeing to my terms.

They could've tried to make me go, but violence isn't always necessary.

The few people behind me tried to push me forward with the other side of their spears. I say tried, because the spear started to bend.

Seeing this, they all grew more vigilant. Wakandans definitely live up to the hype of not trusting outsiders at all. I can't blame them though, especially because of what happens in the future.

"All you had to do was ask me to move.." I slowly started walking in the middle of all these people, waiting patiently as they led me to their leader.
