In a dirty grungy laboratory in the middle of nowhere lived a middle age man. That middle age man was running around taking the papers around him to view the scribbles that only he could understand.
Around the middle age man was countless papers stacked so high that it appeared that it would tip at any moment. Yet despite that the middle age man was able to navigate the small city of stacked papers and even pull out the papers he needs from them without having the towers fall.
You had to admit that it was impressive especially his dexterity it simply wasn't human nor was his physique for it appeared as if God sculpted himself.
Unlike most other scientists he put in the effort to keep fit and in his free time he always meditated. These two forces working in tandem kept his body and mind fit. It also strengthened his brain in that if you looked at his brain on the spiritual level you would have found a tube growing on it looking as if it was about to open up, his 'spiritual tube' organ.
All of a sudden he started to manically laugh while tearing down the paper towers throwing test tubes and setting fires in the entire laboratory as if he wanted to destroy everything like a pyromaniac.
"Hahahahaha they all said I was crazy, that I would never find a cure for the zombie outbreak! Now who's the crazy one! In fact I was never looking for a cure I was looking for a path! A path to becoming stronger and that is what I found!!! While everyone else died after getting the zombie virus I studied it to make it my own strength unlike those Neanderthals that wanted to cure it!"
He finished the destruction of the lab then left and as soon as he went a good distance he pressed a button exploding the lab to destroy the evidence because he didn't want anyone to profit off his hard work, nobody.
"Now I may have taken a few extreme measures during my experiments but it was for research so they should be honored to contribute that much. I also have to say it was worth it for I, Ned Thompson, discovered, in my research of the zombie virus, how to manipulate my consciousness to create the so called spiritual consciousness in novels. I even went one more step and created an organ to better utilize it! Now I am at the breaking point and I just discovered it I now only need to implement. It's just that before that I needed to eliminate my research."
Yes, Ned deduced a few cultivation methods. After the world ushered in the zombie apocalypse a few decades ago, around the time that Ned just graduated Gene Tech University, he started to study the zombie virus. At first he got nothing but as time past and his experiments more extreme he finally found a lead but it was also around that time that he was deemed crazy and was kicked out of the camp. Actually he wasn't really kicked out he ran away due to the fact that they found out that he had the zombie virus and wanted to kill him before he became dangerous.
The few cultivation methods, the name due to the fact that the main purpose of these methods is to essentially cultivate yourself, that he created is not a few but only a few can be used. A body refining method which can strengthen the body a meditation method to strengthen the mind and lastly a spiritual method which grows a 'spirit tube' organ.
The first versions of these could only work with the help of the zombie virus but not this time. The version that he just created and destroyed his lab for was one that didn't require the zombie virus. You could rely on yourself to gain this power with out the risks of the previous ones due to the zombie virus being prevalent in them.
"Now that I am ready I can now start to transfer from utilizing the zombie virus to discharging it from my body in order to realize my new method"
Ned started to flush the zombie virus out of his body, which if anyone else on the planet was to see they would be amazed and would kill for the method because currently getting the zombie virus is a death sentence.
After a few hours when he got rid of the last few strands of the zombie virus he then started up using the new cultivation methods. At first nothing happened but after a few minutes it sounded as if the insides of his body was cracking and popping as if it was to blow and if you could see the spiritual tube organ you would see it fully blossoming sucking in an unknown substance.
After an unknown amount of time after all this fanfare he stood up and felt a tremble in between his eyebrows. It was then that he realized that he could see his sea of consciousness and that made him very excited but before he cheer out he broke out in a cold sweat. This was due to a divine might bearing down on him stopping him from doing anything physically or spiritually.
"Ho it seems that someone actually opened up their sea of consciousness now that is unexpected. At the same time this isn't something that I condone. While it may be my fault for not disallowing it was just that I never thought a mortal could do it with no guidance. To make up for this I will change the laws to make it impossible for anyone else to do this. Now for you, since you were able to do this I shall bequeath upon you a reward. This is a reward that any mortal would love since it is something from me, a mighty God."
The Mysterious God then started to use his powers and granted upon Ned a curse, a curse that would cause his sea of consciousness to explode then to afterwards have him reincarnate into a new world with his memories and as he is in the womb have his sea of consciousness explode again. Rinse and repeat and every once in a while he will be given a task to either continue with the torture or to just end it all and disperse his soul. The only way to ever suppress the curse is to have the same soul strength as the one that gave the curse. Which is impossible since it can only be utilized on one that is vastly inferior and gives no chances for any kind of cultivation to improve ones soul.
As the Mysterious God bequeathed the curse to Ned, Ned started to glow red and expanded until his head exploded which then led to him being reincarnated. After some time zombies came over and ate his corpse completely removing any evidence that Ned Thompson ever existed leaving all who called him crazy none the wiser thinking that he failed and that it served him right.
"I wonder how long he will last, it is my gift to him, an inferior lifeform, to see other worlds. He should be glad to even see them however how short. I am sure any inferior lifeform would gladly disperse their souls without regret if they could see such sights."
