Chapter 2 - Daily routine

Addel's daily routine was not exciting at all, it was so boring that you can consider yours more electrifying. Right after getting out of bed, he would take a trip to the 'room of magic' coming out fresh, highlighting his elegant body. He had soft curly hair that complemented his brown skin complex. On the boy's face could be seen two light blue pearls that floated in an ocean of milk, along with some freckles that made him more attractive.

As much as attractive he was no girl dared to come near him, his behaviour was known that any girl that wanted to ask him lost interest in him as soon as they saw how un-energetic he was.

After fixing his appearance, he would then have his breakfast, mainly cereal, take his bag, place some music from his iPod and leave. At least he still appreciated music. He would then take no shortcuts and would head straight to school. Today was the same. He was so used to it that it became a habit, a boring one indeed.

But today something changed. Instead of sticking to his routine, he decided to pass by the Bay stadium, since they did live close. He wanted to watch his favourite team go to training. He did hear rumours they would be there early.

"Right on time," he said to himself as he watched the players enter the training ground one by one. Their morale conspicuously lost, after their loss at the beginning of the season, conceding three-nil to Ahmed-ham f.c at home ground yesterday. He started mentioning every one of them quietly so that only he could hear his words, or at least that's what he thought.

"There's Mohammed Dior, captain of the Yuda's, he looks demoralised today he usually has most hype of the lot right," said a voice from behind. He turned around and saw a beautiful light-skinned girl. She had long straight hair that went down to the middle of her back and she was smiling showing her dimples. The skin on her face seemed so smooth that he thought if he were to touch it his fingers would slide. One word could describe the beauty in front of him, perfect. Addel just stared at her.

"You know it's not nice to stare, right?" she said placing both her hands on her waist and tilting her head a little to the side and striking that beautiful smile. Addel could have melted if it wasn't the fact that he would embarrass himself in front of her." My name is Beck, we just moved here from Cliffside City. I see that we study in the same school right... Mod doh Academy if I'm not wrong," said Beck.

"Yeah... we do studying at the same school," replied Addel still grasping the beauty in front of him.

"Shouldn't we go to school, we are getting late," she asked.

"Let's go I will walk you there," he replied as they started walking.

During their walk, Addel and Beck had conversed a bit. From their conversation, Addel had learnt that Beck loved the beautiful game, she was a die-hard fan of Sadara f.c. Although she could not physically play it but understood every single bit of it, and she was a good tactician. She preferred cheerleading to football since she was naturally flexible. Whilst talking to her about the Ahmed-ham game she easily pointed out the good and the bad things in both teams. Addel was impressed.

"So, do you play soccer?" she asked. "Umm... not anymore," he answered," Why is that?" Addel then told her about how the loss of his late father affected him. Sorrow was visible on his face.

"Oh sorry about that," Beck said with the smile that never seemed to leave her face now gone."Hey, I hope we can be friends, it will be nice to already have a friend in school. Maybe you can give me a tour." she gave him a nudge on the side.

"Sure I would love to," Addel said as the continued to walk to the school.
