Suddenly, a kick flew towards Ezra's face in which he was barely able to block. But the impact was too great and it sent him flying towards a wall of the shed. Ezra's face twitched. His body slid down the wall with some blood stained on the walls. The torture didn't stop there. Another kick from the same boy aimed at his stomach caused him to cough out some blood and his internal organs were bleeding. Ezra was losing too much blood. As if a stabbing pain came 'just in time', his head started to become heavy and his vision became blurry. Everything became red. His heart started pumping really hard on his chest and his veins felt like they were on the verge of exploding. Ezra's frail body was unable to take the pain and he lost consciousness. At least that was what he thought happened…..
When Ezra once again opened his eyes, his was rather pleased with the sight. There was the dead body of the boy with a pool of blood surrounding him. However, Ezra was rather curious about what had happened. Who killed him? Or rather….what killed him? There were two bite marks around his neck and when he continued inspecting the boy, he realised that he had a tag. It had the words 'prime minister estate, second son, Ming Zhi Han'. Ezra was speechless. Did he just travel back to the past?! Never mind that, why would the son of the prime minister have anything to do with a peasant like him? Was he a servant? Or maybe his brother? I mean…there were a lot of stories and novels with plots of people going against each other. Ezra sighed. How did he even get into this situation? However, right now, he was a lot more concerned about his identity right now. Was he a human, or something else. Using the clues given to him, he concluded that all those things were his doing. That meant that he was no longer a human being but instead, is another sort of 'human'. But what exactly was it? Ezra wasn't exactly sure. He did have and idea of what it was, but he wanted to make sure of it….
