"Pfft" Donald ,the principal's son bursted out laughing.He used to be a big bully till the previous semester.He was standing there with his best buddy,Felix.
PREVIOUS SEMESTER.
"Hey Felix come here,. Lick my shoes" Donald said to Felix, the boy who was in this rich kids school because he had scholarship. He is super brilliant and always comes first in their class works and any other academically related things he participates in. He even represented the school in inter-school quiz competition when he was in his first year.
He was very timid because the last time he talked back at a rich kid,her mom's small stall at the road side was crushed down in a minute by the rich kid's bodyguard.
"Ok..ok...okay" Felix said already going down on his knees to lick them until a tiny hands grabbed him by his collar and yanked him up.
"Why are you so stupid Felix..stay right here and wait for me" a feminine voice said coldly to him.
"...and you, Donald or Doughnut or whatever your name is, listen to me very carefully." The students who have gathered around didn't dare to laugh out when she called him Doughnut but they hid it.
"Why do you always hit at people when they are in their weekest point in life. What do you find so funny about bullying others. Do you know many students in schools commit suicide, get transferred, becomes psychologycally unstable because of bullying? Huh.. do you even think before making others life a living hell. Fine, you were fortunate enough to be born a rich kid. Others were also fortunate enough to be born to normal parents who can provide their basic needs... But unfortunately for others, they also have to help their parents out and that doesn't make them weak Donald. I pray you have a change of mind before you leave marks on peoples lives, marks that can't be erased forever. And you will forever be the culprit. Change for the better and stop hurting others. The whole locker hallway was thundering with applause. They've waited for so long for that person who will stand up for them.
Even the principal whose son was been lectured came to witness the scene and couldn't help but smile at that brave girl.
"Come with me" He told Donald and Felix.
Donald and his fellows were punished for a week and apologized to everyone they bullied and pay for Felix's mother's stall they ruined.
Such a happy thing every sane person should do.
"You were so cool back there Hay" Alice praised her mentor and pillar.
" You have to learn how to defend yourself Ali, this world is too crazy to be timid. If you can't defend physically, defend verbally"she said feeling sorry for the weak in this cruel world. ...

In The principal's office.
" Felix I'm so sorry for what you've been going through in this school.I won't blame you for not reporting because I understand you. Take this cheque ,it's 1 million US Dollars, you and your mom can get yourself some nice apartment and a stable job so you don't have to work part time okay. "The principal said feeling sorry for the. He wants to adopt him but he is his mother's only child and family.
He is gifted with brains.
"No sir I can't take that.My mom said everyone have to earn what they have by themselves." Felix said with tears running down from his eyes.1million dollars? Ha.. they will be rich but not this way.
"Your mom know about that already ."
"How..?" He asked because his mom don't even have a mobile phone.They use the street mobile station.
"Turn around"
He saw his mom standing at the door with tears everwhere.
"Mom" He said and gave her a fat hug
"I'm sorry son ,I didn't know you were going through this.Im sorry for not being rich and providing you with everything"
" Don't talk like that mom.You are my mother"..and that was it,she cried louder.
3 min later.
They parted and smile until they heard the voice of Donald.
"I'm sorry Felix..I ..I..I didn't know you were going through all this. I know no amount of excuse can clarify my stupidity because I knew I was wrong all along... the scars have been left already but please give me the chance to help you heal them. I'm sorry"Donald who have been quiet all this while said with lowered head feeling ashamed of himself.
"Okay"
"Friends?.." Donald requested with stretched arms
"Friends" He accepted.
