The carnival of gods is half way into it's procession when young Yura walks into the towns square with her mom.
"This place is beautiful" she says engrossed deeply in the blinding lights of the place she twirls around enough to suit an eight year old before a slightly glowing but dark circular orb drags her attention to itself.
"It's a fortune stand mom.." she grabs her mom hand a bit tighter and pulls lightly in that direction while her mother stares at her child a little smile resting on her face like she knows what next her little girl wants to say.
Yura's eyes glitters under the lights revealing a pair of eyes with different shades of eyes colour, one is Sterling grey and the other is faded grey. Her mom looks into her eyes"..can we go there?" She asks cutely pulling her mom who willingly
gives in towards the direction of the stand.
"Woahhh" the other kids reacts to the glowing orb, as Yura joins in her mom moves over to stand with other parents.
"Now do you believe in past lives?" The old fortune teller ask and the kids cheer lightly but Yura can feel the old woman's eye on herself and the moment their eyes meet Yura feels instant strange shock waves passing through her, an instant flash of memories run through her head leaving her confuse. She slowly separates herself from the little pack of children and then runs to her mom.
"Am scared, can we go home?" Tiny droplets of tears form round her eyes, leaving her mom stunned.
"Did anyone hurt you?" She ask out of sheer concern.
"No"
"Did you meet a mate again?"
"No"
"Do you want to go somewhere else?"
"No, let just go home please mom" Yura begs putting and abrupt end to her mom questioning who simply nods and decides to get to the root of the issue once at home.
"Quite a case" The old fortune teller draws near to Yura who clutches her mom's cloths in an extremely protective manner. Yura's mom chuckles extremely lightly revealing a beautiful smile under the lights.
"A little scared of fortunes maybe" Mrs Han replies.
"Han Yura" the old fortune teller calls out.
"I didn't tell you my name" Yura replies confidently, she brushes of the old woman from her mind and makes another attempt to leave with her mom.
They move a few meters before suddenly her mom stops. "What wrong mom?" Yura ask as she turns back.
A horrid look appears on her face as her gaze falls on her mom who is frozen, Yura blinks in disbelief and shock, then she tries to shake her mom back to her senses. She is about to shout for help when she feels a shadow overwhelming her.
"Han Yura" the old lady calls out once again.
"Who are you?.." Yura ask curiously
"..What have you done with my mom, release her" Yura says a bit too authoritative.
"Bossy I missed that" the fine wrinkles on the woman face stresses out more as her lips twitches into a smile.
"Alright my queen I'll give you something for making me see you this way again"
Yura stands confuse for a while trying to wrap her little brain around what the old lady was saying.
Suddenly, lightning strikes behind the old lady and Yura is scared.
"Who..are..you" the words shakily falls from Yura's lips. "Release my mom please" she gets teary.
"Do you no longer wish to know me?" The lady asked.
Her fine lines and wrinkles start to disappear, her skin goes from pale to lively.
She starts to regain her youth.
"It was about time" The old woman has gone fully young. Yura stands mortified, her feet and hands obviously shaking.
"Do you remember me?" The lady ask but Yura doesn't say a thing.
"Of course you won't, then I am.." the lady takes steps towards Yura but yura finds her feet going backwards. A thunder strikes stopping Yura where the stands. Rain starts to fall.
Yura soaks in the rain along side the frozen people, she looks at the lady whose body is still dry like the rain just fell right off her body.
"Who..Are you" Yura pauses.
"The one who grows old but never die" the lady smirks.
"I am Mora"
"The one who was in your past.." Mora gets teary and moves closer to Yura
"The one in your present and the one who will be in your future.. the reason behind every smile as well the cause behind every pain" Mora pulls Yura into a hug.
Yura feels a flood of emotions coursing through her, a mix of anger and pain.
"I am a diety who is indebted to you"
"Hunh" Yura has given up on trying to understand.
"In ten..no seven years time.." Mora pats Yura gently and she starts to fall asleep.
"You and him will meet again, and so will you and I, and from there fate will be in your hands as you both swore to each other in the past. A history is set to repeat itself, but in this life you have to win. When you meet again the truth of every past will be right in front of you. Don't let love ruin you again. All that has to happen will happen but for now you have to forget all of this"
Mora blows breeze over Yura pushing her into deep sleep. Then she releases the people she kept frozen and everything seemingly goes back to normal.
The next morning Yura wakes up with a striking headache and no memories of the previous night.
7 years later.
