It was in my 4th grade that I met him he was newly joined so I don't know him so i didn't cared to talk to him either

In class

I just entered the class and some of my friends came to me as we talked i just went and sat with my friends just like that term 1 completed and I was not interested in studies but because of my parents forced me to i have to study I got the 7th rank i was neither happy or sad about it but then teacher announced there was 3 students who got 1st rank and i know one of them as we know each from quite a time now

Then i took a glance at other too 1 was a girl and other was a boy

I know the girl as she repeatedly ask question to teachers i just some time wondered how her brain works .

Then i took a glance at the boy and i don't know him even though we were in the same class i don't even remember seeing his face .

Then i asked the girl who was sitting next to me who was he

She took the glance at me at and told you don't know him what world are you even living in

I just took a glance at him and again repeated the question but she just didn't answer and i took a sight and decided asked my best friend i was about to ask it even before i could call her name out her teacher announced about the three 1st rankers name:

Geetham Kumar

Anjana sravani

Ayush Kumar kar

So his name is Ayush i thought to myself self

And just like always i don't even cared about him i just went to my normal routine and just like that 2 term came and i just went little higher in my rankings i got 3 rank for which I was happy this time and he got 2nd rank, like last time there was no tie this time

As for me after only 9 mark different between me and ayush i have decided i will still improve myself

Till the 3rd term i just wanted to talk to him but i could not and i started taking peak off him in between classes whenever i could and then finnally 3 term  results came

Teacher told us there are 2 (1st rankers) 5 (2 nd rankers ) and 1 (3rd rankers)

He was no where on the list and i didn't like it , i got first but he was not there in the list and i was not happy as the day result announced he was absent so i was lucky i went to the teacher and asked about his marks and i got to know he didn't attend 1 exam so he was out of grade

After he came back after a couple of days he came to me and asked that i Xxxxxx and i was quite shocked when he came to me to talk basically we never talked so this was the first time I was taking to him i was happy overjoyed as we talked and i understood why he came some teacher basically

called me so he just came to say that

I was not happy when I heard that but i kept a fake smile on my face
