They shouldn't come back home. We are a fool to believe that they came home because they were worried about me. Three days after they returned, I've been exhausted every day. What I felt during my accident is no match for the troubles they made and it is exhausting to the part that I do not want to leave my room.
I vividly remember all the things they have done these past 4 days.
(Day 1)
It is a fine afternoon and I'm here inside the library; reading a book that Mother made me read. Then I will answer the tests she left for me and I don't understand any of this! Aunt Patrice was supposed to teach me, but she was still in the Capital. So, my kind mother, took over my education momentarily, she said.
Snow is melting, some flowers are blooming already and yet I am stuck inside reading these materials. Mathematics, Etiquette... Ugh. Still, I read them it is scary when my mother gets angry. While writing the answers I heard a soft tap in the window. Another one followed and I stood up to see who it was.
"Wren! Look here!" It's brother Laxus and his ridiculous grinning. Unbelievable, what is he doing outside? I thought they were going to research magic in the laboratory.
"What is it Brother? Im studying."
"Just come!" Because of his persistence and he looks like he won't leave me alone. I walk towards the window and open it. My jaw hangs open as I see what's beside him, "Wha..." I couldn't find my words when my sight was being welcomed by a big, scary bird... bird? Ah, no.
It has the body of a lion and a head and wings of an eagle. What he had is a griffin and it is awfully big.
"I told you she will be scared," My gaze turned to Lexus. His hood is covering almost all of his face yet I can feel a sinister smile behind that hood.
"Ain't cha cute? Whadd'ya say Wren about our catch?" I stared at it in bewilderment. No matter how long I stared at it, it will not change the reality.
Two seven-year-old kids caught a Griffin. Laxus stops petting the griffin and turns his gaze on me.
"Hey, You should.... umph" The next thing I learned about the griffin is that they are scary. As such, my cousin has been eaten.
THE GRIFFIN ATE MY COUSIN. In my horror, I shout Jemina's name. Lexus isn't doing anything except to stare at the griffin and Laxus. Laxus tried to get out by pushing away, but the griffin's legs wrapped tightly around his body as it laid down on the soft grass. It looks like the griffin is playing with Laxus while eating him---
The sound of something snapped in two made my heart stopped beating as a thought crossed my mind.
Fxxk!! Did Laxus' body split crosswise?!
"LEXUS DO SOMETHING!" I shouted. This is the first time I've seen someone watch his brother being eaten...
"Right, I should help him." Why does he sound unmotivated?!
Lexus then released multiple thunder bolts and aimed it on the Griffin. The griffin easily evaded It while Laxus is inside his mouth. The lower part of his body is dangling around as the griffin goes round and round.
'Is he even still alive?'
"Oh No, that griffin drained my mana." My eyes widened at his remark and he said It while staring at his hands then looked back at the griffin.
Why does he look bored this time?! and what does he mean drained?! He only released thunder bolts! Is he fxxking kidding me?! The griffin stops moving and spits out Laxus. He stands up, sluggish and---! Ugh...
!!! he looks sticky with the saliva of the griffin mixed with his blood! Oh... how disgusting...! I don't want to see it but it remained on my head.
"Young Miss!"
I fainted, I woke up later that day. Noland told me that Laxus was alright and he used a body double and illusion to trick me into thinking he was eaten.
"Is that so... how lucky," I gripped the glass tightly and it shattered.
(Day 2)
"There you are Young Miss!"
I turned around to see Rina panting and full of sweat. "What---"
Rina firmly placed her hands on my shoulder and looked at me straight in the eyes, "If you are hungry... you can just order us to serve you, young miss." I nodded in confusion.
I did not go in the kitchen though. Besides... Am I a glutton in their eyes?
"If you are hungry, we will gladly give you anything you want... just don't mess up the kitchen, young miss."
woah... it felt like she was bursting into tears seeing her in knees, panting with flour on her head.
"Rina, I did not leave this room"
she was going to say something when several footsteps, loud crashes and shouts can be heard. Where is Noland? The crashes continue and it is getting louder.
"Young Miss!!! Don't run!!!" Noland's shouts rang outside my room and their steps can be heard. A loud screeching on the floor and something breaks, again.
What trouble did Yessenia do now?
The door in the study room flung loud and open. My jaw dropped and Rina on her knees suddenly became white. She then turned at me and back at the person in front of the door.
"Y-Young Miss..."
I want to strangle them. Which idiot is walking around with my face? Who is this? There is still some crumb left on his face. I see, This is what Rina's talking about and I am the one getting scolded.
"W-who... W-why..." Rina faint and my look alike shrugs, "Young Miss!!" Noland is closer as his shouts are more clear and loud.
"Bye," My eyes went wide when I heard Lexus's voice, but before I could stop him. He jumped from the window. Leaving me in daze. We are on the 3rd floor and he jumped.
Noland came right after and nagged me for 4 hours straight before finding out that it was Lexus and he escaped through the window.
(Day 3)
Please, Why don't they go back to their training. We were having a nice dinner, but are these twins really my older cousins?
"Here, a flower for ya, Yessenia." Laxus holds out a rose.
We both stared at it, it was suspicious. Especially with how gross it looks despite looking like an orchid, no, more like rose? Why does it change appearances the more I look at it?
A rose they say. Who are they fooling with it?
Laxus pouts, "Ya guys are cruel. It's just a flower"
"Yeah, how could you not accept our little present." I glared at Lexus for joining in the guilt tripping because it sure made Yessenia to accept the flower.
Yessenia picked up the flower with disgust face.
"It has a nice fragrance despite its appearance." that damned smile. I'm afraid something demonic will happen sooner.
Curious about what our cousin said, she slowly lifts the flower on her nose and then a black smoke came out from it. We both stare at It when it lets out a foul smell, something like a rotting flesh.
"aacckk!"
I knew they would not give us something nice and normal at all!!
"Astreia!" Azi followed my little sister who ran away. Yessenia dropped it on the table and the next thing there were bugs and flies coming out of it.
Anna has become a statue on the corner and Noland is trying to repel the insects inside the room.
"Young masters!"
Yessenia and I are both surprised that we couldn't move a muscle after we left the room. A mischievous laugh filled the room and it was none other than the twins.
"Glad we came across that plant." Their laughter continues as they fled and it was creeping us out.
"Insect flower, a rare type of flower that becomes the house of insects. It can't be sold for a hefty price so we give it to you."
stupid Lexus. Who would want a flower like that?!
"Young Masters! Please do not do that again!"
"Run!" the twins ran as fast as lightning and Noland running around the mansion. Despite his old age, he can catch up with the twins.
(Day 4)
My mother and the rest of the adults are still not back. So, Azi and Astreia say that they found something pretty inside the twins room.
I shouldn't encourage them but I got carried away with something they said.
"We also find jars of candy like the maids hid from you!"
Those candies that Jemina hides are hard to get! They are dried Lavander candies and they come from the south. A very rare delicacy, if I say so. If only I didn't get a toothache after eating a few candies last time.
Anyway, we are in front of twins room and Azi gently pushes the door creating a small gap. Astreia took a peek inside, "Sister, It looks like Brother Lwaxus is still sweeping"
"Sleeping." Azi corrected again and Astreia rolled her eyes on him.
"Let's be quiet" wait, what?
When did Yessenia join us? besides, these three are noisy... the second we step right inside we will wake the twins up.
And those candy... so, no. I should be the only one to enter. For a successful retrieval of candies. (which is not mine)
"Ok---"
"I will go inside and check if Laxus and Lexus set traps." Im not kidding, the twins are described as mischievous kids and during their stay I did not have peace.
So, We should be careful.
"I will come with Wren!"
No, no, no! Don't just walk the rig... oh great. She walked right in.
"hey, I didn't know their room---" The three of us stared at Yessenia. Well, she had it coming.
Flour kept pouring on top of her head until her whole body covered in flour.
"Is she going to be fried?"
What kind of imagination does my sister have?
"No Astreia. If my older sister is going to be fried meat... she won't taste good"
Again, What kind of imagination do they have?!
"Laxus!!!!"
No, wait, why did she shout?! My candies, I can't let that candy go!
"I hate you! Come out!"
I ran inside and quickly scanned the dark room but nothing beats my sense of smell when it comes down to food even if it's dark!
"It's dwark"
The sweet smell is wafting inside, he really does have that candy!
"What's this rope for?" I heard Azi ask, the rope is formed like a hoop and laid on the ground.
There is nothing besides it so, whatever let's go to the candies.
"Laxus! Lexus!" Yessenia is still covered in flour as she tries to climb the bed.
anyway, the candies are right here inside this drawer... huh? A vase? there is something wrong with--- waahh! my candies! w-where?!
Where did it go?!
"Astreia!!"
"Waahh!"
Suddenly, Yessenia and Astreia are hung up in the ceiling.
"Laxus!!!" The vase that I was holding suddenly shattered, making a loud sound and that instant the candy was in my arms and then the door burst open.
Noland and Jemina are sweating and look up to see the two in the air, crying.
"The young masters are at it again!"
"Young Miss! I told you, no candies!" Jemina grabs my jar of candies and led me outside
'No!! my candies!'
Not even one of that candy I've had eaten yet
"Young Master Azi, we should wait outside."
I heard a quiet and low whispers in the corners.
Those two again!
Some time later, we wait for our parents to arrive here in the foyer when the door opens.
"Wren! Astreia!" calling us, we hugged our mother tight.
"Welcome back mother... and father."
"You don't sound happy that I came home." I rolled my eyes at him
"welcwome back"
Our mother smiled at us and then kneeled down to level us.
"Wren, Astreia, we have something to tell you," she held our hands and stared right at us.
Astreia became curious and she looks at them. However, my heart is pounding loudly while I wait for what she's going to say.
"You are going to have a new sibling!"

ah, yes. after that. My mind went blank that I almost choked because of my saliva.
Today, we are inside the parlor and most of the kids are playing. Except Yessenia and Laxus. They are having a staring match. She can't forget what happened to her. Also, I'm already exhausted. How can they have so much energy everyday and come up with new ideas to mess everyone in the mansion.
"Dear, Can you fetch me some apples?"
"Hmmm. Okay"
Seeing my parents like this, I am full and already unmotivated.
I didn't expect that Wren's parents are like this. Her father described a horrible person. But he looks like a responsible husband right now. Really Author, Im going to sue you for defamation of character.
"Aunt Carina!" Laxus suddenly jumped and went to mother. Yessenia blinks and looks at Laxus with disbelief.
"What is it?"
"Uncle Royce stated that they will be coming back here tomorrow"
I also stared in disbelief at my cousin. What the hell? It is rude that they will be here tomorrow without sending a word first.
"Oh... it...was sudden" even my mother is surprised.
"It wasn't sudden. I forgot to tell Uncle since he was always out and ya aren't here"
"So there was a letter!" I said and sighed. He gave me grin then whistled, "I forgotten 'bout it since it was a week ago"
A... A week ago?! That was when they came here!
forgot my ***! You chose not to tell everyone last week! They had so much entertainment these days and was that not enough?!
