Chapter 6 - The First Meeting

Exactly at 10.00 Arseno looked at the street from the car that brought him.

'Today I'm going to meet the woman I'm going to set up with, somehow I seem to hope she's so ugly that I can reject her,' thought Arseno.

"Brother, are you all right?" Yuriza asked who woke Arseno from her daydream. Yuriza sat right next to Arseno. They both sat in the back seat, while Mr. David and Mrs. Diva sat in the middle seat of the car driven by Mr. David's driver.

"No," said Arseno curtly.

Arseno saw the car that brought them into the orphanage's yard. Now, they are starting to get out of the car and the name of the Dwi Hasanah Orphanage is written on the front. Arseno was sure that he had been taken to an orphanage that his mother often talked about.

"Why are you going to the orphanage? Don't we want to meet that woman?" asked Arseno in surprise.

"The woman is inside, Arseno," said Mrs. Diva.

'Is inside? Is he the owner of this orphanage? No, not him. The owner of this orphanage is Mrs. Sri. Mrs. Sri is already old, how could she possibly be matched with me,' thought Arseno who was starting to get restless.

'It's not funny if a CEO of the biggest company in Indonesia gets married to a woman, hmmm, to be more precise, a grandmother,' thought Arseno who was horrified by his own reflection.

"Arseno come on in!" shouted Mrs. Diva when she saw her son was still standing in the courtyard, while Mrs. Diva had already moved closer to the entrance.

Arseno immediately realized and walked after his parents and younger sister.

"Mr. David, Mrs. Diva, Mr. Arseno and Miss Yuriza welcome to the Dwi Hasanah orphanage, please come inside," said Mrs. Sri who was very excited to welcome her special guest.

"Thank you, Mrs. Sri," said Mrs. Diva who stepped into the house.

"Please have a seat, Mrs. Diva," said Mrs. Sri.

However, Mrs. Diva immediately went to the backyard, where food was already arranged and the children were playing in the back.

"Mrs. Sri, we should go straight to the backyard," said Mrs. Diva.

"Sorry, Mrs. Diva, but it's very hot behind because of the sun, it's better if Mrs. Diva is here, for the food, let Jingga and Adisty carry it," said Mrs. Sri carefully.

"Mrs. Sri, I don't mean to be special here, let me, my husband and my children get acquainted directly with the children in this orphanage," said Mrs. Diva.

Mrs. Sri seemed to be silent hearing Mrs. Diva's words.

"Mrs. Sri, what my wife said is true, let us get acquainted with the children here, after all, we haven't visited this orphanage in a long time," said Mr. David.

"Okay, let me take it to the backyard," said Mrs. Sri who decided.

In the end, everyone went to the backyard. For some reason Mrs. Diva was very happy to see a small child, she remembered back when Arseno and Yuriza were small and cute.

"Mrs. Diva, if it's hot, sit there," said Mrs. Sri, pointing to an empty chair that was protected by the hot sun.

"Mrs. Sri, don't make us special, here we are with Mrs. We will play with the children here," said Mrs. Diva who held Mrs. Sri's arm.

"Yes, Mrs. Diva," said Mrs. Sri.

"Ma, Yuriza is there with the little boy," said Yuriza, pointing at the cute little girl. Yes, what Yuriza was pointing at was Anna.

"Yes," answered Mrs. Diva.

Yuriza also walked to go to Anna, but it turned out that there was an Orange who also approached Anna.

"Sis Jingga," said Yuriza.

"Miss Yuriza, nice to meet you again," said Jingga.

"It turns out that Big Brother lives here," said Yuriza, who pretended not to know. Yuriza often goes to Jingga's boutique to buy clothes there, not because she wants to wear them but all this is on the orders of Mrs. Diva who wants to monitor Jingga's boutique.

"Yes, Miss, I lived here 10 years ago," said Jingga.

"Wow, it's been a long time, oh yeah, what's his name? I saw him thinking to himself," said Yuriza.

"Let's get acquainted with Miss Yuriza," said Jingga.

"Hello Miss Yuriza, my name is Anna," said the little girl named Anna.

Meanwhile there was Arseno who was sitting next to a row of drinks. Now he is really stressed with his parents' requests that don't make sense to him.

'If the two of them weren't my parents, I wouldn't want to follow this stupid request, until now Mama hasn't told me who the woman will be marrying me, I'm really sick of seeing small children running here and there,' thought Arseno who already getting annoyed.

Arseno stood up from his seat but suddenly...

Bruk!

A small child suddenly bumped into Arseno's big body. Arseno of course didn't feel any pain, but he felt something wet on his pants.

"How dare you spill a drink on my pants," Arseno snapped when he saw that his pants were already red with syrup.

Arseno's yell succeeded in making everyone silent and scared to see Arseno's very angry attitude towards the little boy.

"Master, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," said the little boy, looking down.

"You know my pants are very expensive, and you're just an orphan who can't possibly replace them," Arseno snapped again as he raised his hand towards the little boy.

"Master," said Jingga who immediately hugged the little boy.

"Sir, on behalf of Ridho, I apologize for spilling a drink on your pants and making you angry," said Jingga pleadingly as he put his hands together and knelt under Arseno.

"Orange stand up!" Mr. David ordered who approached Arseno and Jingga.

At first, Jingga looked doubtful but Mr. David nodded.

"Arseno what are you doing?" said Mr. David.

"This little boy has spilled the drink on Arseno's pants, Pa," said Arseno.

"What was the little boy's name?" asked Mr. David gently.

"Ridho, sir," said Ridho while holding Jingga's hand, it was very clear that Ridho was very afraid of Arseno's attitude.

"Okay, Ridho, you go first, okay, sir, I want to talk to your son, Arseno," said Mr. David.

"Okay sir," said Ridho who immediately ran away from Mr. David, Arseno and Jingga.

"Watch your attitude! Ridho is still a child and everyone here is a child, aren't you ashamed to be rude in front of the children?" said Mr. David disappointed to his son.

"Arseno is annoyed, Pa. These are expensive pants and a gift from Selva," said Arseno.

"Ohh, because this is from Selva, you look like a person who has no shame and manners? It's useless if you study abroad if you don't apply ethics here!" snapped Mrs. Diva who was disappointed with her son.

"Mrs. Diva and Mr. David, it is indeed Ridho's fault here for hitting Young Master Arseno, I am very sorry because they have spilled the drink into Young Master's pants," said Jingga who felt bad.

"Jingga, Ridho is still a child running and playing is their right. If they are wrong, it doesn't mean they are yelled at like that, after all, Ridho immediately apologized, right? Even such a small child knows his respect," said Mrs. Diva.

"Mrs. Diva and Mr. David, we should just talk in my room, it's not pleasant for the children to see," said Mrs. Sri who noticed that many children were watching the drama created by Arseno this afternoon.
