When I picked her up, she was still quiet and very reserved. I couldn't exactly blame her for that after the way I'd been with her in the morning. But right now, I didn't want her like that, I wanted to show her some fun and erase what'd happened in the morning. I knew that wasn't a sensible way to apologize. I should have sent tons of flowers, chocolates, and money. You know, do something nice and romantic. But fuck no! I didn't have the patience for all that. It was still a process I was learning just for her. Before now, I would have discarded a girl who acted this way because I never did relationships. This was my first.
