Cadence sat comfortably in the passenger seat of James's car as they road through the quaint streets of Wimberley. Many shops and restaurants were closed, as was typical on a Sunday in a small town. Still, there were plenty of things to look at and Cadence made several mental notes of places to visit throughout their stay. Then, she remembered how meticulous James could be. While preparing for the wedding, she had asked about the honeymoon a few times, eager to help with the planning. However, he insisted he had everything covered and seemed determined to let the whole thing be a surprise. She wasn't even completely sure how long they would be staying since James went so far as to take care of their leave requests at work himself. Cadence wondered if he had already planned each day out. She decided this wouldn't be so bad. They had yet to have a bad date and she trusted his instincts.
