He regretted his words a d his actions the moment Lilly Rose eyes glistened. He reached for her hands and when he felt the dampness of her skin, he cursed himself inwardly. He had teased her too much.
"Sorry. I'm sorry, Lil. I cross the line," he apologized in a soft tone of voice while caressing the back of her hands.
He was caught off guard with her sudden visit and he was being defensive when she gave her observation of the changes in his place that he decided to tease her to shift the conversation only to her for he was feeling guilty that she was right. He's dating.
