"Why are you so quiet?" Pete asked Lilly Rose who had been staring at the dashboard since she got in the car.
Lilly Rose sighed audibly but did not take her eyes away from staring blankly at the dashboard.
"I learned something today from Tiffany and I wondered if it was the reason why she acted like how she acted," she said, tilting her head to the side, trying to remember those times when Tiffany was just too difficult to deal with.
