The loud music and the lights that could induce seizures made it almost impossible for Lilly and Tiffany to talk but it didn't stop Lilly from shouting to tell Tiffany what happened this morning between her and Matthew.
Tiffany laughed and patted Lilly's shoulder before she turned sideways to face the man with a nose ring who was grinding her hip. And the two danced in a slow-mo that could make a nun make a sign of the cross and offer a prayer for her soul for how scandalous it was.
Lilly let Tiffany dance with her new partner and she also danced to her heart's content, forgetting the way Matthew stared at her mouth and how the corner of his lips curved into a mischievous smirk that made something strange in the pit of her stomach and somewhere between her legs.
