Pete kept his expression blank and said nothing. He had no plan to involve Nate—someone he just knew to his plan for revenge. As much as possible, he wanted to do things in his own way. It's less complicated that way.
When he didn't say anything, Nate shrugged his shoulders and let the topic go.
The elevator opened and they were welcomed by another pretty girl, this time wearing pieces of clothing that barely served their purpose. She gave them a bright smile and asked for their left hand and she stamped something on their wrist.
Pete looked at his wrist for the glow-in-the-dark barcode to stand out in the dark. He was still staring like a kid over something that was new to him when he felt Nate's hand on his elbow, ushering him to follow another girl to their table.
