Matthew could not get a night of decent sleep since he left home, leaving his wife angry and hurt at him. He cursed the long meetings with investors, the new company that his father acquired that required his presence for a smooth transition because his father was busy and his older brother was undisposed for some reason he had no idea about.
He hadn't talked to his older brother for a while now. They just communicated through their respective secretaries and sometimes through email.
