"I thought you were going to visit the bastard in the hospital or something."
Lilly Rose felt her eyes roll at the back of her head when she heard the mockery in Pete's voice.
"You know the reason why I chose to come here. It has nothing to do with visiting him at the hospital or caring about what the hell happened to him. Besides, with how his family was hiding his accident from the public, I have a feeling his father is in deep shit."
Pete crocked his brow at Lilly Rose. "Tiffany told you a lot of gossip?"
Lilly Rose chuckled under her breath. "Some are even too complicated to think. But whatever! I don't care about it. I have a lot of problems to worry about."
