"Are you okay? I think your friends would understand if you can't do coffee with them tonight," he said, watching her pull her feet onto the passenger seat and hug herself.
"I'm fine. I'd like some hot latte."
Matthew did not say anything and just pulled out of the parking lot and followed Andrei and Susan to the coffee shop. He glanced at his wife who had her eyes closed. Hopefully, she did not fall asleep. He didn't want to wake her up once they arrived at their destination. He knew that Lilly Rose had a bit of a temper when woken up on the wrong side of the bed.
