"You will like me if we are friends."
Markus chuckled. "For sure you had me investigated and found out that I don't have friends."
The other man smiled a little. "I know that you're going to be difficult but I did not expect for you to be this difficult."
"I have a client that wanted that piece of shit to stay a bit longer in that country. If you're going to do something to save him, that's your choice. But, I'm not going to change what had already been done because I already got paid."
Markus knew that this man could take Reagan off jail and he did not have to meet with him. That was why he wondered what the man wanted from him.
"I promise the Governor that I would not touch his son," he said, sighing. He looked at Markus as if he was asking for his understanding.
"And you did not."
The two men stared at each other, trying to read the other but none of them said anything.
