The tracker showed that Irina was now in a hotel in Manhattan. We drove back to New York immediately. We'd taken this road to and from New York and Philadelphia many times, but today's journey felt especially long.
When we reached the hotel, the tracker showed that we were getting closer to Irina.
"Roy, it's your turn."
Roy hacked into the hotel's surveillance system and quickly found the scene of Irina being helped into the hotel by two people. The elevator's surveillance camera showed that the elevator stopped on the 21st floor, but the surveillance camera on the 21st floor was actually malfunctioning. Damn it!
I got the universal door card used for housekeeping purposes, and Roy took only a minute to duplicate a few. We opened each room to check, but we still didn't find Irina.
"Where the hell is she?" I punched the wall.
The tracker showed that she was here, but I couldn't find her.
