"God help us, we have to find that horrible guy quickly," Aunt Mary murmured as she hugged Millie.
Melanda sat on the sofa in an absent-minded manner. Too much had happened today, and she couldn't process it all at once. Mike sat beside her and held her hand tightly. Melanda gave Mike a grateful look and smiled weakly.
"If I catch that guy, I'll beat him up." Mike's hand was clenched tightly and his eyebrows were furrowed.
"Who is this person? Is it possible that it's Hannah? She said a lot of horrible things the day you guys broke up," Aunt Mary asked.
"I don't think it's her. I know Hannah. She's just sharp-tongued. She'll forget about it soon after. I'm more suspicious of Jeffrey. Even so, I still don't believe he would do such a stupid thing, unless he's crazy," Mike analyzed in distress.
Melanda leaned her head on Mike's arm. Mike wrapped his arm around her and kissed her forehead.
