Adraina stared at the liquid in a tiny glass container. She took a glance at Harriet who stared at her with all confidence.
"Are you sure about this, Harriet? I mean, don't you think we could deal with this differently?" Adraina asked, quite petrified about the effect of the liquid.
"Trust me, this will help you. This is our only way of delaying the wedding, at least until we get a chance to escape," Harriet explained.
Adraina took in a sharp deep breath. She never thought that life would be so difficult for her that way. Nice, she has to take some risky measures just to escape the claws of Jeremy. But then, not doing anything at all is considered worse. It was better she, the risk than not doing anything at all.
