Adriana could not believe just how drastically her life had changed. From being a working-class boss lady to being a prisoner in a mansion and about to be married to a man that wasn't even her mate, to begin with.
Adriana lay on her bed with her eyes staring distantly at the ceiling. She couldn't believe the mess she had entangled herself in. All because she trusted her. She trusted the wrong person and now she is pushing dearly. She has no idea where her father was at that very moment. She wondered if he was dead or alive. She trusts her bare though. One thing she knew about Rafael was that he wouldn't take the risk to send her father away if he wasn't sure of her father's safety. She was sure her father was safe. So long as he hadn't been caught, she knew for a fact that he was safe.
