Adriana stayed in her room all day after she came back from boat riding. Her plan of being with Stuart and having to keep him as her mate was shaky.
The last words Rafael said to her before she left made her tremble.
It can't be that she was still scared of him. She can't be scared of him. She was an Alpha who managed a pack. The male Alphas respected her greatly, so why should she be scared of Rafael when he was just a male Alpha?
Adriana tossed in bed. She was confused as to what to think or do. She had said she was going to give him time to think about the rejection.
