"R..Rafael?"
"Adriana," he whispered her name so soft that it affected her wolf. Her wolf melted just the way he called her, and that angered her to a great extent.
Immediately, she jolted off his lap and cursed under her breath in confusion, hate, and bitterness all came crashing on her. She just couldn't believe what was happening to her.
This was suicide. This was a mission impossible.
"No no no no," she shook her head. At that moment, all the pain she went through came crashing down on her.
She took her gaze at him. He had stood up from the bed while staring at her with a sad and guilty expression.
"It can't be. You can't possibly be my mate. This is insane!"
"Adriana let me explain to-" Adriana raised her hands in the air, shutting him off. She didn't want to hear one more word from him. She just wasn't prepared to hear any more silly words from him.
