The hall was silent. Since he had planned this from the start, the restaurant was evacuated earlier. So the only people in the restaurant were him, Alex and Petra. They were still yet to hear from Petra. They waited patiently for her to speak.
Alex who didn't know the whole story seemed to be shocked about the question he had asked Petra. He knew she wouldn't be able to deny it since she was faced with Alex.
"I'm the terrible mother that has ever lived. And there is not a day that I didn't regret what I did to my daughter," Petra uttered between sobs.
"You are such a cruel woman. Now I understood why Violet refused to accept you as a mother. Honestly, you are not fit for one. The fact that you were the one who killed those men just to get revenge on your mate was the worse thing ever. I just do not understand how you could do that to the people in the pack you grew up in. Where was your conscience?!"
