Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Through the Millennium

Lars looked at her worriedly, his eyes holding only her, with deep love and concentration.

When the two were at a standstill, the Yuet ROM tree on the sea gently shook its leaves, and the rustling sound rang out continuously, as if greeting and urging something.

She had a vague feeling that if she stepped outside, the dream of so many years, the mystery of so many years, would be solved.

A decision was made in her mind and she looked pleadingly at Lars beside her and Lars sighed, he always couldn't bear to see the loss in her eyes.

This Delighted Artemis, knowing that this was a sign of his compromise.

Artemis walked out of the manor, followed closely by Lars.

The two came to the island and watched the tree from close range, this Yuet ROM tree was even more dazzling, and a touch of awe appeared in Artemis' eyes.

"It's beautiful."

Along with the awe, there was a strange feeling, as if the tree was her doppelganger, closely related to her.

The tree also shook its trunk, as if welcoming her.

She couldn't help touching the trunk of the tree, and at that very moment, the island suddenly shook a little.

Noticing that something was strange, Lars carefully shielded her behind, the sea around the island continued to rise, looking at the island would be submerged.

"Master, let's get out of here." Lars shouted nervously.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he turned around, he saw a golden light shining on Artemis' body, his eyes widened and congested instantly as he ran desperately towards her.

With the disappearance of the golden light, the island returned to peace, only the two people on the island disappeared.

A tombstone appeared next to the tree, with the title "First Imperial Consort路Altinius路Hittite Empress路Wife of Saru" engraved on it.

Just as it appeared without warning, when no one noticed, the entire island slowly sank and then disappeared ...

Three thousand years ago, in the Gerry Mountains on the border of the Mandorla Empire.

A group of Mandorla people who were forced into the mountains by the Hittite Empire's army saw a scene they would never forget in their lifetime.

A vortex appeared in the sky, and after a golden light, the lavender-eyed, silver-haired maiden with her knight appeared out of nowhere on a boulder in the mountain forest.

Artemis opened her eyes to see a group of refugees in strange costumes below. Using refugees to describe them was because their faces were covered with smudges.

A miracle! Their God finally came!

The people of Mandorla cheered in their hearts at the same time.

They looked excited, their eyes were red as they knelt down, and many of them directly cried out in pain.

Their homes were trampled, thus they have been displaced for a long time. The panic of the uncertain future made them exhausted. The fact that Artemis appeared as if the gods had descended made their empty eyes light up a glimmer of hope.

Artemis was baffled by the sight, luckily Lars was still there and she took a look at Lars.

Lars understood that and jumped off the boulder with her directly in his arms.

"My God, I hope you can save your people." A svelte-looking man in full battle armor stepped forward and bowed respectfully.

Artemis avoided this great salute. After a brief inquiry, she learned that she had arrived the era of the Hittite Empire three thousand years ago.

Hittite Empire ... the greatest era in history, of course she knew it. But it was the first time for her to encounter such outrageous things as going through the millennium. Even if she was calm, she couldn't help but panic for a moment.

A subconscious glance at Lars only reassured her a little, although she did not know why she was here, but it was clear that she was not a god. So she explained to these people, but they were stubborn and clearly misunderstood her.
