"Do you fancy unemployment Hellen? My employment that is," Jake asked as he squared up with Hellen in the presence of Angela and Linda.
"Where is this coming from?" Angela asked.
"Ask her and she will tell you. You'd think being a lawyer she'd understand the meaning of extortion."
Angela cast a piercing glance at Hellen who stood dumb faced. Jeremiah had just scored for his team in this personal rivalry in which she was contemplating how she was going to beat him and use him also.
"What is going on here Ms. Langton?"
"Nothing, just a misunderstanding."
Angela was unconvinced and she turned to look at Jake. Seeing the questions on Angela's face, Jake came to the door and opened it. After a quarter of a minute, Jeremiah stepped in looking sharp and raring to go.
"Hello all," he said with a smile on his face as he stepped in offering a hint of a bow at everyone before directing a smirk at Hellen.
