"Hey Hellen," Jeremiah said as he arrived at the table.
He was ten minutes late but being as caught up in her work as she was Hellen had not noticed.
"Mr. Jeremiah Front," Hellen slowly and emphatically said as she slowly leaned into the back of her seat, "I never thought I would ever live to see the day. Small world huh?"
They had a history filled with more complexities than simplicities.
"How long has it been? Two years?" asked Hellen.
Jeremiah was settling into his chair as she spoke. He was determined to go straight into it given memory lane possessed issues of a sensitive nature, issues he wanted to forget and never relive.
"Yes something like that," he said, "Shall we get into it?"
"The last time I saw you, man you were so different than you are now."
"I will take it as a complement," he replied, "I have limited time so let us dive straight into it."
