Jade drew a deep breath as she thought about what she had just done. She felt proud of herself. She had doubted whether she was strong enough to pull it off given she knew just how much she loved Cindy. But she had to, it was damage that she knew she would undo anyway. Most importantly, it was supposed to undo other more significant damage elsewhere.
She stepped back towards the bedroom yawning along the journey. She picked up her phone which lay on the arm of the couch where she had left it when she returned from her date the previous night. She smiled as she saw a couple of message notification from the gentleman whose company she had owned the night before.
