"I am thinking of leaving this industry, the way people treat us is just not right" Jade said as Catherine offered an attentive ear.
"Is it about the way we are treated, or just that without Cindy here it feels different?" Catherine asked. Jade smiled as her mind drifted towards Cindy and how they first met.
"If it wasn't for this job I probably would have never met her." Her head was up as she clearly was down memory lane. "Both. I think it's both. Cindy's absence and the ill treatment," Jade answered the question she had temporarily dodged.
"The connection between the two of you is quite exquisite," Catherine said as she delved into her own set of fond memories. "Reminding me of Viola, my best friend. We had a similar type of friendship. But ours was way stronger," Catherine went on.
"What happened to it?" Jade questioned.
